It’s arrived: Ascension 1.6 is here! Updated for 2024 we’ve added multiple new features including a truly expansive selection of extra presets and sampled sounds too.

Along with new skin options and tweaks you’ll get over 1700 presets, 6 GB of sampled sounds, vector curve draw for both LFO patterns and oscillators, redesigned filters, updated MIDI arpeggiator and new distortion models, resizable UI and plenty more to get your hungry creative teeth into.

Ascension’s MIDI enabled Arp gives you access to nearly 3500 patterns that can be played from your MIDI keyboard or input device and imported directed into your DAW by Drag N Drop. The arp can also be used as a modulation destination allowing you to create complex movement in your sounds.

Modulate your sounds with cross oscillator FM options, and with 32 target destinations and 4 auxiliary envelopes you won’t run out of ideas for spawning a myriad of new sounds for your tracks.

Draw or import your own waveforms in the Waveform Editor, and new to version 1.6: create vector curves for both oscillator waveforms and LFO’s.

We’ve also added 160 all new presets plus all of the free sound packs from our website forum along with an exclusive expansion from synth preset design gurus ZSC.

It’s now also possible to unofficially skin the front panel of Ascension, allowing you to create your perfect interface. Watch this space for free UI skins!
