Here is a modern synthetic collection without equal.  Varifiably Wicked Synthesis from Studio Wormbone is unabashedly propulsive in it’s attitude.  It’s ready to make your speakers pound.  It wants to show your eardrums the ecstasy of exhilaration!  The content is comprised of synth line loops and electro drum one shot kits forming a robust workhorse toolkit.

The main thrust of the synth loops are as follows:

– Monophonic modern and vintage analog hardware recorded through Universal Audio and API preamplification and Apogee A/D conversion.
– Mostly 4/4 time signatures.
– 80 to 180 BPM tempo range with the majority of loops around 130 BPM.
– Key signature and BPM included in file name for easy integration into projects regardless of host software.

Lay these loops into your current productions for instant gratification or creatively edit them to conceive altogether different combinations, using them to spark the inception of entirely new tracks.  Then fill them out ‘construction kit’ style with the electro drum kits using your favourite sequencing software.  High sound pressure levels never felt so wicked!

Formats:

Formats provided are WAV/AIF/REX2 in 24-Bit/44.1kHz resolution. All included files are Royalty-Free.  Every sound has been professionally recorded, edited, sliced, mastered, and formated with the utmost care and is usable with all major audio software programs including Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Sonar, FL Studio, Sony Acid, Garageband, Ableton Live and Reason. All sounds are compatible cross platform with either Mac or PC.

Processing:

Except where compression or reverb was deemed a critical component of the intended ‘flavour’ of a sound, these files have been conservatively treated leaving plenty of headroom for further tweaking if desired. All of these sounds are calibrated with precision to make your next project inventive, far-sighted, and mind-blisteringly innovative.

Aesthetic Philosophy:

We at Studio Wormbone embrace a fluid, organic, non-formulaic approach to sensory stimulation.  This ideology influences many decisions that go into the development of our products.  For instance you will find wide stylistic variety and humanistic performances in addition to the elegant programming within these works.  Each sound originated as a unique idea in itself, however the user will also find some sonically related files within each Studio Wormbone release, as well as between our other sound packs.  This promotes intercompatibility within our catalog and broadens the balanced color palette for our many return customers.

We’re also drawn to the idea that electronic music should sound alive.  This is a major contributing factor in the stereo field diversity of these sounds, and long evolving and irregularly asymetrical modulations (resulting in occasionally longer than normal loop lengths and/or odd numbers of musical bars).  It also motivates our selection of boutique analog and tube (valve) gear, chosen because of their warmly inviting non-linear idiosyncrasies.
